**About the Role**:
We are looking for a dedicated SEO Specialist to join our dynamic team.

This role requires a proactive individual to optimise our web presence to achieve our business goals. You will be working for a group of companies, optimising across 4 websites with your main focus on the most established 2 websites.

They should be well-versed in the latest trends, algorithms, and best practices in the ever-evolving field of SEO.

It is crucial that you have experience and a deep understanding of SEO, as organic traffic currently accounts for 90+% of our traffic and revenue.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Ongoing SEO Optimisation**: Regularly optimise website pages and content (including blog articles) to improve rankings. Focus on achieving quick wins (low hanging fruit) while maintaining overall site performance.
- Monitoring rankings and performance
- On-page SEO
- Keyword research
- Internal linking
- Competitor analysis
- **Monitoring Google Updates**: Stay updated with Google's algorithm changes and adjust SEO strategies accordingly to ensure optimal performance.
- **Monthly Reporting**: Prepare comprehensive reports on traffic, payments, and rankings for monthly management meetings.
- **Backlink Management**:

- **Content Creation**: Produce at least 10 new blog articles per month based on thorough keyword research and identified keyword gaps. Uploading articles with relevant imagery and on-page SEO.
- **Technical SEO**: Enhance the website's technical aspects, including core web vitals, speed, crawlability, sitemaps, and robots.txt, to improve overall site performance.
- Maintaining client websites based on client requests (updating plugins, publishing content, editing pages, etc.)

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role with a solid track record of successful SEO strategies and optimisation.
- 3+ years of proven experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Strong understanding of SEO Algorithms and how search engines rank websites
- Thorough understanding of Google Search Console, Google Analytics, keyword research tools (AHRefs or similar), and SEO reporting.
- Comfortable with managing WordPress websites
- Ability to manage a link-building budget and strategy effectively.
- Strong content creation skills with experience in identifying and filling keyword gaps - strong written English skills.
- Technical SEO knowledge, including understanding core web vitals, site speed optimisation, and the management of sitemaps and robots.txt. for optimal crawlability.
- Excellent analytical skills to interpret web metrics and translate them into actionable strategies.
- Effective communication skills for monthly reporting and collaboration with the team.
- Basic understanding of web development, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be beneficial but not a strict requirement.
