Process and Production Planning Manager, Edenvale

Our client currently has an opportunity for a high-performing individual to effectively manage people and processes to optimize procurement and production planning of sealable goods.

The successful incumbent will have 5 years management experience in a supply chain environment.

Reports to: Senior Supply Chain Manager

Manage, lead and motivate planning and procurement teams
Manage production order process and implementation
Manage purchase order process and implementation
Ensure cross functionality of team
Optimize production lead times and OTD
Manage breakdowns and late orders for best possible result
Manage min max and adhoc stock requirements
Vendor selection, approvals and management of purchase orders and backorders
Manage vendor information in ERP System including BBBEE
Set up contracts and SLAs for frequently moving items, critical items and high spend items
Projects to reduce purchase order spend and frequency/quantity
Projects to reduce overall production input cost
Projects to improve overall production lead time
Projects to improve key account delivery times, including investigating inventory requirements
Manage BBBEE procurement score and BBBEE vendor selection
Facilitate morning production meetings
Manage NCR process and meetings
Assist with stock take administration
Assist branch administrators from time to time with queries or changes needed to orders
Responsible for weekly/monthly Reporting
Adhere to the company core principles/values

Job Qualification & Experience:
Matric
Tertiary qualification
5 years management experience in supply chain environment
Customer service management process and procedures
Knowledge of ERP systems
MS Office (Excel, Project, Word, Power Point) & NAV
Good communication skills
Assertiveness
Management and leadership skills
Presentation skills
Time management skills
Analytical skills

Work well under pressure
