- Our client is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Debtors & Creditors Clerk to join their finance team.**JOB SUMMARY**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process, including issuing invoices, following up on outstanding payments, and allocating payments received.
- Handle the complete accounts payable cycle, including receiving and verifying supplier invoices, processing payments, and reconciling supplier statements.
- Utilize Pastel software to record and process financial transactions, generate reports, and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation for both debtors and creditors, complying with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with internal departments, such as sales and purchasing, to resolve billing or payment issues and ensure accurate financial information.
- Provide exceptional customer service by promptly responding to inquiries, resolving payment disputes, and maintaining positive relationships.**Inherent Requirements**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Debtors & Creditors Clerk role, with a strong understanding of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.
- Proven track record in managing debtors and creditors with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Pastel software for financial transactions and reporting.
- Computer literacy with the ability to navigate and effectively use various software and computer systems**.**:

- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
