**OVERALL PURPOSE**

We are looking for a passionate, creative and digitally savvy Copywriter to join our Marketing Department as part of the brand team.

Are you a natural storyteller, the type of person who always finds the right words even on business and financial topics? Can you absorb information and read between the lines to understand your customer's true needs? Do you love playing in the digital space? If so, then read on.

We are looking for a creative copywriter who can ideate creative concepts for campaign work, and keep a finger on the pulse of social trends and all things tech, in order to grow our brand on social channels.

As part of our brand team, you will help us conceptualise creative campaigns and craft compelling copy that is perfectly targeted to our audience to help us achieve our ambitious growth goals

**THE COMPETENCIES WE'RE AFTER**

Conceptualise and create copy for a range of ATL, BTL, Online and Social channels, including:

- Creative campaign copy
- Organic & Paid Social media copy and ideas.
- Scripts Radio ads and video content
- Build a deep understanding of our most important customer segments, know how to reach them, the messages that will resonate with them and how they like to be spoken to.
- Help define and develop our brand tone of voice guidelines
- Ideate ideas around tactical opportunities

**THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR**
- Matric/Grade 12 achieved
- At least 2+ years of agency copywriting experience
- A creative mind - able to think differently and challenge the status quo
- On top of social media trends and best practices across channels.
- Highly organised and able to prioritise efficiently
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Self-starter and highly motivated
- Excellent communication and grammatical skills
- Relevant diploma/degree in Copywriting from AAA, Vega or a similar institution.
- Experience writing for the financial services industry will be a plus.
- Ability to create quality, engaging and shareable copy for different audiences
- An appreciation of online writing issues, such as brevity, house style, content structure and organisation
- Experience managing brands on multiple social media platforms
