Our Cape Town office is seeking a senior conceptual and digital copywriter to join our creative team. This role entails working closely with digital and ATL teams, collaborating with the creative director on various projects.
**Summary of main duties**:
Translate briefs and strategic requirements into compelling creative solutions.
Present work to the creative group head and/or creative director.
Serve as the custodian and creator of the copy, tone, and language style for client brands.
Generate innovative and effective creative concepts for digital-led and ATL campaigns.
Proactively identify digital trends and opportunities.
Direct and produce impactful advertising reflecting insight into the brand and target market.
Manage the creative process to meet deadlines.
Demonstrate strong conceptual ability and advanced brand copywriting skills.
Showcase a portfolio reflecting proficiency in both ATL and digital copywriting.
Exhibit resilience, accepting setbacks, and responding well to criticism.
Possess finely honed copywriting skills and knowledge of SEO principles.
Have experience with AdWords, Analytics, and reporting.
Lead brainstorming sessions and conceptualization efforts.
Detail-oriented big thinker with a self-motivated, team-oriented approach.
**Qualifications required**:
Relevant degree or diploma.
Proficiency in PowerPoint/Keynote and MS Word.
