A high-end barbershop in Cape Town is looking to hire a vibrant and enthusiastic FOH / Store Manager for our branch in Loop Street. We are looking for someone who is friendly, dynamic and hands-on with excellent communication and organisational skills, and able to perform well under pressure across many facets of operations and hospitality.

Key duties and responsibilities:

- To ensure effective overall management of the branch;
- To work as a partner to ensure best practice and best possible outcomes for the clients, barbers and business;
- To work together with any back of house staff, or fulfil any back of house functions, ensuring all duties are done in an efficient and timeous manner.

These duties include but are not limited to:

- General day to day operational duties of shop_
- Inventory control and inventory management
- Bookings and calendar management
- General business administration;
- Opening and closing of the branch,
- Maintain efficient and organized business records - including invoices, vendor contracts, utility records, petty cash expenses etc.
- Manage and maintain cleanliness of the branch at all times
- Front desk co-ordination
- Barber support on the floor
- Marketing, communication, and client relations_
- Assist with building up and maintaining a robust client base through idea generation, strategy formulation and marketing activities or incentive programs
- Relationship management and client interaction
- Building the face-to-face relationship to ensure repeat visits and an overall positive branch and brand experience
- Product knowledge and selling_
- Gain an understanding of all brands and products available
- Understand the benefits or limitations of each product under each brand house
- Team management_
- Special projects_

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Customer and hospitality service and/or sales experience is beneficial
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organisational and multitasking skills
- Demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, empathy and attention to detail
- Proficient in basic computer skills
