**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain OHS policies, procedures, and programs in accordance with relevant legislation (e.g., OHS Act, Construction Regulations).
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, prepare reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Manage emergency preparedness and response plans.
- Advise management on OHS matters and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all OHS activities.
- Promote a positive safety culture within the organization.
- Liaise with relevant authorities (e.g., Department of Labour) on OHS matters.

**Qualifications and Experience**:
Must be registered with the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) as a Professional Construction Health and Safety Officer (Pr. CHSO).

Must attach a certified copy of a relevant qualification in Safety Management, Environmental Management, or a related field:

- BSc/BTech: Highly Preferable and/or
- National Diploma and/or
- NQF Level 3-5 Qualifications
- No experience necessary, entry level graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong knowledge of OHS legislation and regulations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
