**Senior **Technical **Specialist**

**Description**

**Responsibilities**
- Configure and support implementation solutions utilising the IBM Content Management suite of products
- Work with integrated solutions using IBM Content Manager, IBM On Demand, IBM Content Navigator, IBM Records Manager and other related IBM technologies
- Implement/install, upgrade and maintenance of 3rd party packages (IBM)
- Lead and/or assist with the creation of technical documentation and operating procedures supporting the build-out of client solutions on the IBM platform
- Task estimations & work allocation recommendations
- Execution of disaster recovery processes and tests
- Proof of concepts
- Report on the progress of technical tasks
- Maintain, and enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technologies standards
- Product evaluation
- Production support and standby duty
- Share and transfer knowledge to team colleagues

**Experience**
- Relevant IT degree or diploma
- Minimum of 5 years IBM Content Management experience specifically in:

- IBM Content Manager
- IBM Content Manager OnDemand
- IBM Content Navigator

**Technical Skills**
- Solutions development and design
- Development and scripting experience
- Relational Database, DB2, MS SQL
- Windows Server, Red Hat Linux and AIX operating skills
- Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management technologies and processes
- Ability to manage problems and liaise with relevant support areas within the greater Sanlam to resolve the problem timeously
- IBM FileNet
- IBM Enterprise Records
- IBM Content Classification
- IBM Content Collector

Hybrid is 3 days onsite and 2 days offsite
