**Job Function**:

- The Deputy Responsible Pharmacist is responsible for the picking, packing and invoicing of S6 Products: Inbound, Outbound storage and Inventory, Reverse Logistics and Regulatory requirements.
- To Manage and Control the Sampling and Release processes and supervise and manage the staff compliment performing these tasks.

**Qualifications required**:

- B Pharm qualification
- Registration with the South African Pharmacy Council

**Skills and experience required**
- Working knowledge of the Pharmacy and Medicines and related substances control acts.
- Knowledge of GWP / GDP

**Key performance areas**
- Initiate, Implement and review SOPs if required, to reflect current business practices
- Identify new process flows and initiate their implementation
- Review current process flows for applicability to current business practices, and if required, update and implement them
- Manage, document, and trend all deviations promptly, ensuring that problems are identified and corrected
- Compile respective reports, with suggested corrective actions, and ensure that corrective actions are implemented within required timelines and are effective
- New Accounts checked for documentation requirements as described in SOP
- Verify that correct loading groups and customer groups are loaded
- Process release requests via CRM system within 24 hours of request being logged according to the relevant SOP and approved Process Flow
- Update CRM with relevant information back to clients to keep them abreast of request status
- Reconcile the release documentation and maintain release statistics daily
- Control access to quarantine area
- Advise and update clients on status of stock in Quarantine status
- Oversee sampling process and ensure sample requests via CRM system/auto sampling are completed within 24 hours of request being logged /confirmation of put away, according to the relevant SOP and approved Process Flow
- Oversee the completion of sampling documentation and collection of temperature recording device printouts and the forwarding of relevant documents to clients timeously
- Reviewing the 1D0 reports for each destruction run
- Managing and organizing any Ad-Hoc destruction requests
- Any queries pertaining to stock incinerated
- Providing client QA person with copy of Destruction Certificate
- Communicate with Clients on various matters that pertain to their business
- Perform query investigations
- Perform recalls and mock recalls
- Assist other branches when required with:Release S6 orders on SAP

Assess S6 returns for compliance with Quality Assurance requirements
Monthly S6 registers and distribution reports up to date
Application to SAHPRA for narcotic and psychotropic permits
Review import permits for compliance
Review S5 and S6 orders against export permits
Submission of status reports to SAHPRA

**Salary**: R648,000.00 - R972,000.00 per month
