Position: Pharmacist

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a skilled and licensed Pharmacist to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pharmaceuticals and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. As a Pharmacist at Water Tower Group, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently

- Review and interpret physician orders to ensure correct dosages and drug interactions

- Provide counseling to patients on the proper use and potential side effects of medications

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans for patients

- Monitor medication therapy and make recommendations for adjustments as needed

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

- Ensure compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations

- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on new medications and treatments

- Oversee the work of pharmacy technicians and other support staff

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and address any concerns or questions they may have

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree

- Active and unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of employment

- Strong knowledge of pharmaceuticals and drug interactions

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills

- Customer service oriented mindset

- Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other healthcare professionals

- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and evenings if needed
