Direct Sales Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a direct sales assistant in the retail industry. As a direct sales assistant, you will play a crucial role in achieving sales targets and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting products and services, and maintaining a clean and organised sales floor. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about sales and eager to contribute to the success of our retail store.
**Responsibilities**:
Assist customers in finding and purchasing products, providing advice and recommendations as needed.
Actively engage with customers to assess their needs and preferences, and make personalised product suggestions.
Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively answer customer inquiries and showcase product features and benefits.
Demonstrate excellent customer service skills to build and maintain long-term relationships with customers.
Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
Ensure the sales floor is clean, organised, and visually appealing at all times.
Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and store sales goals, participating in regular sales meetings and training sessions.
Required
NQF 4 equivalent, matric certificate or higher.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
