**Responsibilities**:
Deal with investors as requested by the Fund and Investment Committee:
Accompany investors to respective borrowers for site visits for due diligence purposes.
Coordinate relevant travel arrangements for site visits.
Provide detailed feedback to the Investment Committee following site visits.
Engage in discussions with investors to ensure a comprehensive understanding of investment objectives.

Source/Originate transactions for the various funds to grow the respective investment pools and opportunities:
Identify and source investment opportunities aligned with the respective funds' investment mandates.
Recognize new opportunities, initiate communication with borrowers, and unlock trade opportunities using personal and Barak networks.
Analyze identified opportunities based on country, commodity, company, and yield.
Compile investment theses and present weekly to the Investment Committee.
Negotiate terms and conditions with respective borrowers.
Consult with investors as required, providing all necessary feedback.

**Implement transactions for the fund**:
Arrange meetings with legal regarding term sheets concluded from Investment Committee meetings, converting them to legal frameworks in preparation for borrower's signature.
Ensure all regulatory and compliance checks are completed, ensuring the legal framework is feasible for both borrower and fund.
Collaborate with facilitators for operational administration as deals go live.
Maintain regular liaison with facilitators, ensuring continuity of service, identifying potential risks, and ensuring repayment according to set terms and conditions.

**Manage costs and budgeted goals**:
Contain costs within budgeted limits agreed upon in advance of the financial year.
Effectively manage costs for each project, ensuring relevance, realism, and value.
Inform the Investment Committee of any noticeable or expected material variances to the agreed original budget.
Follow the correct process when contracting new or recurring services, obtaining relevant authorization in advance, including costs for travel, entertainment, legal, professional, information, news services, and subscriptions.

**Requirements**:
Degree in Financial/Business Management, BCom.
Corporate/SME Credit Analyst.
Experience in Trade Finance/Structured Trade Finance/Working Capital Finance/Supply Chain Finance.
Working within Africa Experience.
5 years in the Financial Sector.
2 years in Banking/Investment Administration.
3 years of proficient advanced Microsoft Excel & Word skills.
2 years working with legal agreements.

**Knowledge**:
Knowledge of FAIS Act (preferred).
FAIS Compliant (Annual, preferred).

**Essential Skills**:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proven ability to maintain long-term relationships.
Skilled at networking and connecting.
Strong compliance orientation.
