**Responsibilities**:
**Procurement***:

- Procurement of on-specification, on-time, and on-budget spares and consumables
- Processing of requisitions and purchase orders in the various processing systems used by Clariter ZA, as well as uploading of required/relevant documentation into these systems
- Key account relationship building and negotiating to ensure the most favorable unit cost, terms, and lead times
- Being a custodian and champion of company internal requisition process and ERP system
- Ensuring preferential procurement per company directives and strategies
- Presenting utmost professional and ethical conduct at all times.

**Demand planning (forecasting)**:

- Ensuring compilation and management of critical spares list and minimum buffer stock levels of high volume and high criticality spares and consumables
- Proactive demand planning and forecasting of future needs based on measurement of past consumption.

**Technical Stores Management***:

- Resource management: Managing and controlling all purchase requirements as required on-site, including, among other things, equipment spares and consumables
- Monitoring and managing long lead spares from overseas suppliers
- Networking with all available suppliers to ensure mínimal stores hold requirements
- Collecting and managing all required inquiries
- Collecting supplies from suppliers, including local purchasing if required
- Managing/expediting all inquiries and orders to ensure timely availability
- Collecting, storing, and distributing raw materials, packaging, and products in the plant stores
- Ensuring due diligence in the placement of all orders and stores housekeeping
- Maintaining plant storage activities.

***Inbound & Outbound Logistics**:

- Monitoring and managing all inbound and outbound logistics, including receiving and dispatch coordination
- Monitoring and managing all import and export processes

. Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policy, procedure, and directives

**Requirements**:

- Grade 12 / NQF 3 as minimum educational entry
- 5 - 10 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
- A Bachelor's of Commerce in Supply Chain Management/Logistics/similar is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of and experience in utilizing customs clearance/freight forwarding processes is advantageous but not essential
- Knowledge of and experience in working with Incoterms is advantageous but not essential
- The high degree of professional ethics and integrity, as well as the ability to multitask
- Sound judgment and ability to analyze situations and information
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and under pressure
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
