Position Description:

**Currently, we’re seeking to employ a Process Manager to join our dynamic operational team and manage the full Outbound process within our Midrand Distribution Centre. You will ensure that the DC operates at peak efficiency, by managing, organizing, directing, and coaching employees to meet operational goals and ensuring compliance to all standards at every turn. This ideal leader is a high performing problem solver and driver of positive employee culture.**
**Key responsibilities, include, but are not limited to**:

- Manage Achieve and drive the KPI’s relating to accuracy, speed, cost, people and compliance within the Distribution Centre
- Manage and plan the day-to-day operations of your department
- Review and improve distribution processes and workflows to create efficiencies
- Manage stock control processes and losses
- Budget and cost control
- Identify and report on key metrics
- Build internal and external business partner relationships
- Maintain and ensure compliance with Best Operating Practices (BOP) and 6S in your department
- People Management across the full employee journey
- Workforce Planning

**Requirements**:

- A post-matric qualification in Logistics Management/Supply Chain Management/Retail Business Management/Warehouse Operations Management is essential
- At least 5 years of solid Operations Management/Process Management experience
- Strong people management skills to ensure that the Distribution Centre consistently delivers outstanding customer service with highly motivated staff
- Sound accuracy and high attention to detail
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- The ability to confidently influence and persuade at all levels to achieve results
- A strong service-orientation, high energy levels and a strong sense of urgency
- A natural aptitude for the management of systems and business processes
Advanced analytical and problem solving skills and judgement
- Experience in working on a Warehouse Management System (experience on Manhattan WMS would be advantageous)
- Working knowledge of MS Office, with a strong MS Excel capability
- Ability to handle high pressure, stress and multi-tasking
- Prepared to work a 2nd shift on occasion (16h00 - 00h00)
