**Job Purpose**
- To manage all aspects of a BI Team to enable the analytical services across Enterprise and deploy and operationalise analytical projects, as requested and prioritised by the business, in line with both the business and Information Technology strategies. Also manages performance and development of others.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure work outputs are timely and of the highest quality and in conformance to standards in line with best practices
- Managing, coaching & supporting direct reports (BI analyst) and planning delivery of objectives within the context of a team
- Development, maintenance and enhancement of bespoke dashboards and analysis solutions
- Supporting, planning, and executing on divisional or group initiatives related to Viva Insights
- Development of custom dashboards based on business specific use case or through indept analysis finding and opportunities identified from bespoke dashboards.
- Building and enhancing on existing systems and architecture keeping abreast with latest industry best practices in order to exploit the full potential of Viva insights i.e. Ingestion of inhouse external data sources and share of Viva data with Nedbank strategic leaders.
- Manage the technical and product support relationship with Microsoft Support to ensure robust, enhanced Viva insights product.
- Data gathering, cleaning, modelling, warehousing, governance, and analysis
- Communicating analysis and findings through verbal, written and graphical mediums (e.g. Presentation decks targeted to Group Exco, Divisional and Executive Management)
- Collaboration with Viva Platform owner to engage business leads and relevant technical stakeholders to develop and enhance reports/dashboards which support business use cases, organisational campaigns, and monthly reporting
- This role will also require constant research, investigation and POC activities to ensure that the return on investment of the solution is being realized.
- Being an active member of the Viva Insights community to stay abreast of changes, understand different use cases and share learnings from deployments and testing
- Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
- Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
- Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees
- Preferred Qualification
- Microsoft BI Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate, Azure Data Fundamentals/Advanced
- Advanced diploma/National 1st degree relevant Data Management/Data Modelling certification
- Preferred Certifications
- Preferred - Tool certifications Microsoft BI certification, relevant Data Management certification, Agile, DMBOK
- Data Modeling Certification (DMC) by The Data Management Association (TDAN)
- IBM Certified Data Architect - Big Data
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) by DAMA
- Minimum Experience Level
- 5+ years’ experience using Microsoft Power BI
- 5+ years IT related experience/Data analytics experience preferred
- 3-5 years Self -Management experience across functional teams delivering against team.
- 3+ years Managing, coaching team
