To excel as a Director of Finance with our client, you must demonstrate proven experience in a similar role with in-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and regulations. Key responsibilities include directing financial planning and strategy, analysing and reporting on financial performance, overseeing audit and tax processes, leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and managing a growing finance department. The Director of Finance plays a crucial role in building revenue reports, distributing calculated funds to various departments, and implementing company financial strategies. Moreover, they optimise and maximise the return of the company’s financial assets, requiring strong commercial awareness, excellent people skills, and analytical abilities.
Experience & Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in a regulated financial services entity.
- Chartered accountant (CA(SA)) with 10+ years post articles experience
- Good written and presentation skills in English
- Ability to influence change within the organisation
