**Role Purpose**

The purpose of this role is to support the group's ORSA processes, including the analysis and reporting of risk appetite, projected balance sheets, stress testing and solvency results, and assisting in the production of the quarterly and annual ORSA reports. You will also support the ongoing development and embedding of the group's risk appetite and ORSA frameworks in business decision-making, capital management and planning. In addition, you will assist in the analysis and reporting of the group’s capital capacity, as well as the review and allocation of required capital to business units.

**Requirements**:

- Actuarial student making strong progress with the exams
- At least 1-3 years of experience in a life insurance company or life insurance consultancy role.
- Previous SAM and/or other valuations experience would be an advantage.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Analysis of risk appetite, stress testing, solvency and projected balance sheet results
- Supporting the development and optimisation of the group's risk appetite and ORSA frameworks.
- Providing assistance with the quarterly and annual ORSA reporting of risk profiles, risk appetite, solvency and projected balance sheet results.
- Supporting the development of the group's solvency and capital framework and target solvency levels.
- Supporting the continuing development of the group's stress testing framework to appropriately address the ORSA requirements.
- Providing assistance with the analysis and reporting of available, discretionary and surplus capital capacity.
- Supporting the review of required capital and the allocation thereof to business units.
