Look no further Duties & Responsibilities We are looking for a dynamic Actuarial Analyst to join a leading Short-Term insurer in Cape Town. You will be responsible for providing support across all actuarial disciplines within the short-term insurance sector, with a focus on underwriting risk management, pricing, segmentation, reinsurance models, capital modeling, and reserving. Your duties will include: Collecting, managing, and reporting data Conducting experienced investigations Modeling reinsurance, reserving, and assessing capital requirements Implementing predictive modeling and client segmentation Enhancing automation and integration of risk systems and reporting Managing underwriting risk, pricing, and segmentation Promoting risk awareness throughout the organization Creating reports and providing management information Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science Passes in at least 3-4 CT exams (or equivalent) Strong computer skills, with some programming proficiency (e.g., R, SQL, SAS, VBA) advantageous Experience in detailed data manipulation Apply now If you have not had any response in two weeks, please consider the vacancy application unsuccessful.
