What will you do?

This is a junior specialist role. This role is primarily responsible for undertaking various analyses, verification/investigations and reporting related to pricing, premium and product calculations of in force business on the system.

**Key responsibilities are**:
Maintain systems premium calculations and product rules
Test and verify systems changes/updates
Assist business with premium or benefit queries
Monitor, analyse (MI) and report on in force business
Undertake ad-hoc projects and requests
What will make you successful in this role?

**Qualification & experience**:
⦁ Completed BSc/ BBusSci undergraduate degree and studying towards actuarial qualification
⦁ 1 - 2 years’ experience working in a financial services environment will be preferable.

Knowledge and skills

**IT**:
**⦁ MS**: Office with advanced Excel
⦁ Systems testing (functional)

**Business**:
⦁ Financial services industry knowledge (Understanding the fundamentals of a Life company)
⦁ Sales processes
⦁ Claims and underwriting
⦁ Relevant regulatory legislation and compliance knowledge
⦁ Actuarial modelling (basic)
⦁ Financial valuations (basic)
⦁ Analytics and data analysis
⦁ MIS and reporting
