What will you do?
Sanlam L&R is looking for an actuarial student with a hybrid skillset across actuarial and analytics to manage the Lifestyle Benefit function within the Product Team. This is an exciting role that allows the management and development of behavioural science tools to achieve improved persistency, market share and risk outcomes for key product houses in the Sanlam group. This will enable Sanlam Fintech to offer enhanced client value and business outcomes. What will make you successful in this role?
The development and management of a framework on client engagement for each membership option and product house by tracking performance of various engagement tools.
Build and maintain financial models to estimate and track usage and cost of lifestyle benefits for internal and external purposes.
Research new engagement opportunities and assist with business development to offer new loyalty & rewards benefits for key behavioural science outcomes.
Engage with stakeholders across our business to design and produce reports on financial performance of products with loyalty bonuses and belonging to loyalty members.
Assist in the development and execution of key functions within the Product Team to support the Sanlam L&R with analytical insights and management feedback.
Support Marketing, Sales & Operational functions with complex problem solving and metrics.

**Qualifications**:
Actuarial student or nearly qualified actuary
Bachelors and/or Master’s degree in data science, actuarial science, computer science or related field would be advantageous. Experience
Experience in life and/or short term insurance.
Experience querying databases and using statistical computer languages when managing data: (eg. R, Python, SQL, etc.)
Experience visualizing/presenting data for stakeholder use.
