**Position Overview**:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Water Treatment Service Technician to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to conduct routine servicing of existing customers in the Western Cape, with occasional travel within Southern Africa.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on water purification systems.
- Install and commission new systems and system upgrades.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical & chemical issues.
- Conduct inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and reports.
- Follow safety protocols and company procedures.
- Maintain company tools and ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Take responsibility for the upkeep and care of the assigned company vehicle.
- Manage and oversee a team, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing excellent service and support.
- Take full responsibility for assigned sites and clients, ensuring effective maintenance work.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Grade 10 / Matric.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in industrial water treatment system maintenance, specifically with media filtration, reverse osmosis, and chemical dosing.
- Additional qualifications in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering fields would be advantageous.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience in team management or leadership (preferred).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel when needed.
- Advantageous to reside in Strand/Helderberg or surrounding areas.

**Education**:

- High School (matric) (required)

**Experience**:

- Water Treatment Servicing: 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

- Drivers Licence (required)
