**Introduction**:
**Job description**:

- Ensure daily supply of material to subordinates teams.
- Monitor Equipment availability, utilization and equipment.
- Oversee contractors.
- Manage budget control and focusing.
- Maintain asset register.
- Adhere to maintenance schedules.
- Ensure environmental management in place.
- Plan, schedule and control activities to ensure availability of resources, to meet daily targets.
- Risk identification and mitigation in compliance with DMR, M&RC and Client’s safety requirements.

**Minimum requirements**:

- Grade 12 or NQF 4 equivalent.
- Supervisory certificate.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Valid First Aid Certificate.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Planning and organising skills.
- Good English verbal and written communication skills.
- At least three years’ experience in mining construction.
- At least three years’ experience in maintenance of TMM’s.
- At least three years’ experience shaft sinking experience.
- Extensive knowledge of mechanised development operations.
