**JOB OPPORTUNITY: Officer Human Resources**

**Location: Emalahleni, Mpumalanga Province. South Africa.**

**Background**

A reputable, innovative and Power Engineering company that embraces a High-Performance culture, has an opportunity to hire an HR Generalist/ Officer responsible for providing a comprehensive one stop HR service on all HR Products.

**Purpose of the Role**

Responsible to provide a comprehensive one stop customer HR service through effective implementation of HR policies and procedures and implement HR Products and solutions that are aligned to the company’s mandate and objectives.

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Providing a comprehensive one stop service on all HR Issues.
- Supporting and offering guidance to employees and management on employee relations.
- Handling grievances and disciplinary hearing cases
- Developing and executing a wide range of employees’ events on site and Head Office
- Administering various human resource plans and procedures for employees and support in the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintaining the Human Resources Information System records and compiling reports
- Assisting with data input for payroll, from Talent Acquisition to Exit Management.
- Serving as a liaison officer to the Payroll Team and maintaining employees’ personal files ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations
- Maintaining and coordinating employee recognition and employee wellness programs
- Serving as a focal point in addressing day to day employees’ and managers enquiries
- Conduct external personnel file audits on a monthly basis and providing the service on employee relations and compliance.

**Experience and Qualifications**
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an HR Generalist within an Engineering or Construction Environment
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or related field
- Registration with the South African Board of Personnel Practice (Advantageous)
- Valid Driver’s License

**Education**:

- Diploma (required)

License/Certification:

- Driver's license (preferred)
