Duties/Pligte**General**:
- Making logistic arrangements to support academic activities;-
- Tabulating and mapping all student activities on the Northern Cape platform;-
- Overseeing the Upington Student Learning Centre;-
- Developing the site visit schedule for the Northern Cape learning spaces;-
- Reporting and resolving student challenges;-
- Reporting student disciplinary matters (incident reporting);-
- Assisting with events related to Stellenbosch University (SU);-
- Sourcing compliant external service providers;-
- Vendor registration process.- **Accommodation / learning spaces**:
- Sourcing suitable (SU policy compliant) student accommodation;-
- Quality management of the Northern Cape accommodation / learning spaces;-
- Site visits: keeping inventory and asset registers, and conducting health and safety and security checks;-
- Resolving maintenance issues at the accommodation / learning spaces;-
- Placement Plus entries.- **Transport**:
- Coordinating daily student transport activities;-
- Supervising the student shuttle driver/s;-
- Responsible for ad hoc student transport activities;-
- Managing quality assurance of the Northern Cape Vehicle Fleet (maintenance, fines, etc.);-
- Placement Plus entries.- **ICT**:
- Coordinating the ICT system in the Upington Student Learning Centre;-
- Liaising with the SUNLOC IT Coordinator regarding ICT challenges.- **HR**:
- Supervising and reporting on general workers, drivers, and ad hoc personnel in the Northern Cape;-
- Monitoring and coordinating sick and annual leave/ absenteeism;-
- Tracking and submitting monthly overtime.Job Requirements/Pos Vereistes

**Job Requirements**:
- Qualification in Business / Logistics / Administrative Management;- A valid driver's licence;- Willingness to travel nationally and stay overnight;- Proven proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook);- Availability after hours and on weekends to address student queries;- Upington-based with good knowledge of areas in the Northern Cape.
