- To ensure and maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction and customer service
- Update and maintain time and attendance records of staff
- Motivate staff and maintain a positive work environment including the strategizing, execution and providing of feedback to staff with regards to the results of the incentive scores weekly.
- To ensure the timely delivery of parcels to our customers within the SLA requirements
- To effectively communicate policies and procedures
- Computer literate
- Monitor staffing needs and personnel issues
- Oversee all line hauls / Cargo received and dispatched
- Oversee Dispatching/Receiving processes for all routes including assessing risk in cases where there are high value movements and taking appropriate action to secure the parcels in question
- Ensure that a routine alcohol tests are done on branch randomly on a weekly basis
- Ensure that random checks are done on couriers daily to make sure that couriers are true on delivery attempts
- Disciplinary issues are dealt with timeously
- Assessment of routes and values are done correctly on dispatch
- Ensure that the warehouse is always neat and tidy and that all faults are reported and addressed timeously
- Reports sent daily of hub status
- Ensure hub and fleet is maintained in good working order at all times to ensure the safety of all staff
- The successful implementation of all new systems and procedures and communicated by head office and the facilitation of all change management interventions on an ongoing basis.
