A well-established organisation in the meat processing and export sector is seeking a dynamic Deputy COO to oversee the operational management of a large-scale beef abattoir. This position requires a strategic leader who thrives in a deadline-driven environment, excels in workflow optimisation, and demonstrates a strong technical understanding of abattoir processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operations of the abattoir, ensuring efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
- Identify and implement workflow improvements to enhance productivity and maintain quality.
- Manage and develop operational teams, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Ensure strict adherence to regulatory, health, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet production targets and deadlines.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in managing abattoir operations or a similar technical role. (10 years minimum)
- Strong knowledge of beef processing workflows, equipment, and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and drive results within tight deadlines.
