- Ensure all import documents received for preparing customs clearance are correct and sufficient
- Ensure that correct tariff headings are applied, and correct duties paid

**Customers**
- Attend to client’s Customs technical requirements
- Provide advice on tariff headings and duty rates
- Provide advice on permit requirements

**SARS (Customs Documents)**
- Tariff and frame bills of entry
- Frame ex-bond bills of entry
- Frame voucher of corrections

**Adjustments**
- Monitor stopped/detained shipment and follow-up
- Prepare and lodge provisional payments as required

**Risk**
- Conduct quality control when requested**Inherent Requirements**
