Key duties and responsibilities:
Full Creditor function consisting of reconciliations and processing of creditors accounts whilst complying with company policies and procedures.
- Accurately capturing of expenses invoices (utility bills, suppliers’ invoices, rental invoices, Accounting Fees etc)
- Perform monthly creditor reconciliations of all supplier accounts.
- Liaise, communicate and negotiate with suppliers regarding invoice queries, credit queries, payments queries and discrepancies; to resolve these queries in a timeously manner.
- To manage, investigate, resolve the disputes with suppliers in a timeously manner.
- Raise intercompany invoices on the monthly basis.
- Maintain account payable ledger on the weekly and monthly basis.
- Have a good understanding of accruals and cut off dates.
- Investigating and clear old queries on Supplier accounts.
- Prepare creditors and COD accounts for payments within the designated timelines
- Preparing remittances and ensuring all payments are captured in XERO system when suppliers’ payments are paid.
- Process import invoices
- Bank reconciliation on all the bank accounts.
- Accurately filing on the daily basis.
- Other bookkeeping duties when required.
- Able to work well with people internally (creditors, management, procurement, site personnel) as well as externally
- Various ad hoc projects/duties that may be required from time to time
Required Qualifications:
- Finance Diploma or Degree Qualification (Compulsory)
- Other professional qualification (an added advantage)
- XERO Accounting skills ( advantage)
Required experiences and skills requirements:
- Minimum 5 + years experiences in Creditor Clerk role.
- Advance knowledge of bookkeeping and GL codes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite. Advance in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Logical and Structured
- Strong Analytical skills
- Ability to train and communicate on all levels within the organisation

Budget:
- Market related salary depends on the experiences
**Job Type**: Permanent
**Salary**: R4,000.00 - R6,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
