**Descriptions**:

- Perform managerial responsibilities complying with organisation policies and applicable laws
- Plan, assign and direct work of team members
- Determine and drives strategic direction for department and continuously improve and optimize stock control procedures
- Accountable for the day-to-day decision-making in operations as it pertains to the department efficiencies, cost, and risk
- Monitoring and controlling stock levels, usage, and ordering to ensure operations have adequate material to achieve efficiencies but avoiding excessive surplus
- Record daily deliveries and usage to reconcile stock and to identify shortages
- Administrate systems with regards to stock ordering, receival, usage, waste.
- Assist with the setup of Bill of materials
- Ensure store general hygiene, organisation, and flow of stock in a way that will ensure maximum space utilization
- Sourcing, vendor selection and negotiations of stock outside of central purchasing scope
- Monitor and evaluate service delivery of suppliers, ensuring that all stock arrives in time without any delay
- Prepare detailed reports on stock operations, stock levels, usage, and adjustments
- Increasing revenue potential and maximizing cost efficiencies within department
- Controlling administrative operations such as budget planning, report preparation, expenditure and ensuring the efficient use of resources
- Monitoring and reporting on stock waste, and escalate issues to management
- Coordinate all stock stakes, variance analysis of all stock and stock counts and put corrective measures in place
- Ensure that all procedures in the department are followed according to Policies and Procedures and that all required records are completed accurately and timeously, with any deviations reported to management as soon as possible.
- Ensure the Supplier Assurance procedures are followed and maintain trust relationships with all suppliers
- Ensure the accuracy of tracked stock, the inspections of received stock and completeness of required documentation from suppliers and finance for batches received.
- Coordination and planning in the department to ensure smooth operations and maximizing overall packhouse productivity and quality
- Ensure that the area of responsibility is clean and that all hygiene, health and safety policies and rules are followed.
- Ensure vigilance and continuous improvement in worker safety within responsible area.
- Ensure good communication on all levels to ensure effective and efficient operations.
- Analyse data to anticipate future needs, and timeously communicate any stock related issues to various departments.
- Compile accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for delivery during Manco, Exco and Grower Sessions
- Overseeing the selection, training, personal development planning and performance of staff.
- Manage staff members by rewarding and disciplining staff members, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as requested by Management.

**Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 with Relevant Qualification
- Minimum of 4 years relevant Experience
- Previous relevant experience in Citrus/Agriculture will be an advantage
