Research Support Assistant: Spring Wheat Breeding

Assists in research support, such as seed cleaning, seed weighing, trial preparation, and any other request as per manager request.
- Ad hoc upkeep of research offices, seed laboratories and glasshouse.
- Performs routine activities under supervision
- Assist with trail planting, maintenance and harvesting under supervision.
- Utilises equipment, such as scales, seed cleaners, etc. under supervision.
- Provides verbal feedback on work activities to supervisors.
- Adheres to quality standards.
- Grade 10
- Good communication skills (writing and verbal).
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Ability to perform routine work.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills
- A valid South African driver’s license would be an added advantage
