  • Support agro-processing research.
  • Perform technology transfer in agro-processing.
  • Implement safe agro-processing strategies in rural areas.
  • Support in developing applicable project proposals.
  • Compile internal/external progress reports.
  • Supervision of agro-processing staff.
  • Collaborate with appropriate ARC Institutes on designated projects.

  • Comply with OHS regulations.

  • Minimum Grade 12.

  • Knowledge/experience in food processing operations and preservation techniques.
  • Knowledge in Food Microbiology and its application in preservation techniques.
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal).
  • General experience within research environment.
  • Willingness to work in rural communities.
