Warehouse Administrator

**Qualifications and experience required**:

- National Matric certificate
- Any tertiary qualification will be an advantage
- Minimum 3 years receiving experience
- Minimum 5 years general warehouse experience
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of the following:

- EH&S
- SABS ISO 9002
- Occupational Health and Safety Act
- Basic Conditions of Employment Act
- Employment Equity Act

**Required knowledge, skills, and abilities**:

- Strong stock investigations skills
- SYSPRO knowledge is a must
- Ability to interpret and create reports and monthly head office reports reconciliation
- Stocktake administration, reconciliations, investigations on the system
- Working independently and in a team
- Own transport and valid driver’s license
- Good people skills with a no-nonsense approach to systems/processes/standards/rules
- Attention to detail (meticulous) and strong problem-solving skills
- Must adhere to and enforce company procedures
- Managing time effectively
- Clear and continuous communication is essential
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Exhibit the ability to use inventory software efficiently
- Possess basic Math skills
- Exhibit familiarity with shipping and billing procedures
- Demonstrate awareness of proper warehouse and factory safety procedures

**Key responsibilities**:
**Administration**:

- Stock forecasting based on sales forecasts
- Ensure sufficient stock levels for consumables
- Ordering goods from approved suppliers
- Follow up on delivery of stock
- Distribute administrative documents to relevant departments
- Amend and update Bin locations
- Stock take generation

**Production**:

- Issue of production raw materials
- Print picking of production materials
- Open of job cards
- Monitoring WIP

**Inventory and Suppliers**:

- Book in of stock
- Request stock adjustments
- Asset management - loss prevention
- Process non-stock orders
- Credit notes - GRN
- Allocation of consignment stock
- Process exceptions to receipt of products and communicate to supply
- Monitoring of GIT (Goods in transit) stock
- Resolve issues with suppliers

**Accounting and Stock Preservation**:

- Ensure the purchase orders are processed on a timeous and accurate manner
- Ensure accurate and timeous processing of inventory receipts to avoid delays or write-offs
- Claim and return damaged goods from suppliers
- Account for claims correctly on the accounting records and follow up on outstanding claims
- Investigate and report variances / stock write-offs on a monthly basis
- Generate, print, and capture stock take and cycle counts

**Cost management, Human Resources, and General**
- Control petty cash
- Capture and monitor freight allocations
- Payment of casual workers and arranging temp workers
- Assist with Capex, control, and management of asset register
- Ensure good relations and communications with all staff members
- Follow up on all nonconformance audits and implement corrective action
- Ensure compliance with dress code at all times
- Comply with health and safety regulations at all times
- Conduct any ad hoc tasks as requested by management
