vergenoegd löw, a historical farm with a rich history and heritage dating back to 1696, is looking to appoint a brand manager who shares the underlying ethos of the business. there is a need for brands to engage with people in a way that gives meaning to their professional and private lives. the goal of this appointment is to improve the winery's brand exposure in the marketplace and increase sales of the winery's products.

the position will from part of the strategic team and report to the managing director. this opportunity will suit a creative team player with extensive experience within the liquor category. you will be required to work inclusively with global sales teams, hospitality stakeholders & brand home staff in order to create, build & grow overall revenue through brand activities. you will be creative, enthusiastic and aligned with the brand and its core values.

duties will include but not be limited to the following:

- identify & implement activities that will consistently communicate the essence of the brand, its offerings and the core of what vergenoegd löw stands for
- review, evaluate & execute wine events in line with brand message & goal for growth
- support sales efforts with marketing collateral as required to reach set goals
- manage brand communication with relevant stakeholders ie. pr, social media campaigns, promotions, industry collaborations etc
- product & service offerings - conceptualise & execute
- work alongside destination manager to ensure that the full team is informed, excited and enthusiastic to extend the brand into their everyday environments.
- develop strong alliances with 3rd party service providers to ensure one message and exceptional hospitality
- budgets, campaign analysis & oversight reporting on goals, progress & bottom line profitability
