We are recruiting for a **Senior PARAPLANNER** for our client within the Financial Services Industry. Role is based in Midrand and Randpark Ridge.

**Requirements**:

- Re5 - minimum requirement
- Degree or diploma within the financial services/insurance/ etc space
- 3 years of previous Paraplanner experience
- 3 years and above of Discovery Products (ALL of them) experience
- Strong experience in FNA’s

**Roles and Responsibilities**

The Employee is responsible for, but not limited to the following tasks:

- New business/New client
- Extracting all information from new business file provided by the broker and inserting information into Discovery Smart advice, with the view of completing a comprehensive FNA.
- Performing an Astute download and portfolio analysis.
- Run comparative quotes with the view of moving all clients to Discovery. These are to include our house view on all investment fund selections as well as from a risk product perspective.
- Preparation of a file to present to a client, this file must include:

- Analysis of clients existing portfolio
- Comparative quotes with Discovery Life, Discovery Invest, Discovery Insure and Discovery Health.
- All relevant tools to illustrate performance of products or the workings of technical aspects of the product in question.
- All relevant paid up quotes for replacement of investment products as well as fully drafted Section 14 documentation.
- A summary of products detailing the benefits of the proposal.
- A fully completed compliance pack with detailed record of advise to clients.
- Fully completed cancelation letters should they be required.
- Life, Health, Investment and short term insurance broker appointments
- Full review of fund choices within the client’s portfolio.
- Broker has a maximum one week turnaround time on presenting to the relevant new business client.
