The EMEA Business Compliance Team was created to deliver beyond the gold standard, compliant, experiential education journeys. We strive to deliver customer centric process excellence and experiential market leading educational events for the EMEA region. We collaborate with the Global team, IT, HCC, Legal, the regional teams and the local countries to drive innovation and process excellence in this area.
The integral area of serving the needs of the business by maintaining an effective and transparent compliance program is a varied, client facing role which includes taking responsibility and ownership of business activity.
ROLE PURPOSE:
This role is to be a primary business contact within the EMEA Business Compliance team, aligning with the Health Care Compliance (HCC) program, ensuring activities operate within the compliance system by providing guidance, solutions and approvals on the Fair Market Value and Transfer of Value to Health Care Professionals (HCPs).
The role will include contract creation and activity reviews and approvals for Health Care Professionals (HCPs) / Government Officials (GOs).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Compliance:
- Act as a first line contact for business event queries.
- Provide guidance, solutions and approvals for events in accordance with the HCC program.
- Guide and advise local markets on the approval process of requesting the use of EMEA contracts.
- Review and process all event requests, to ensure they are aligned with the HCBI Guide and in line with all local country laws and legislation.
- Ensure that appropriate Evidence of Service documentation is obtained for HCP payments.
Contract Management:
- Act as a first line contact for contract queries.
- Ascertain full justification and alignment with business strategy for contracts.
- Draft contracts.
- Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure contracts are fully executed (manually or electronically).
- Manage renewals of existing contracts, liaising with the business to ascertain need.
- Co-ordinate with internal partners to ensure all J&J events have the appropriate executed contracts in place.
- Liaise confidently and transparently with HCP’s on all contractual matters.
- Ensure that appropriate Evidence of Service documentation is obtained for HCP payments.
General:
- Maintain all necessary documentation relating to all stages of the process (auditable)
- Report and escalate to management/HCC as needed
- Deliver ad hoc training (on HCC Life) to all staff, when required
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Proactively identify business risks and opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure events adhere to Health Care Compliance guidelines and that all contracts are fully executed in time for events.
- Enhance the Business Compliance Team status by accepting ownership for being customer centric and solution orientated.
- Be transparent with all aspects of non-compliance.
- Challenge the status quo.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Educated to Higher Education or equivalent calibre
Evidence of cross-sector and/or cross functional experience
Customer service experience
2-3 year’s Health Care Industry Experience - preferred
Languages - preferred
LOCATION:
Willing to travel within EMEA when necessary
