**_Our client in the public and private metering space is urgently looking to employ an experienced Technical Sales Representative at their organization_**

**_Location: Durban, KZN_**

**_Requirements: _**
- _Business, Electrical, and Engineering Qualification_
- _ Must have a minimum of 5 years of proven sales work experience in the Electricity and/or Water metering space(non-negotiable)_
- _ Proven track record in achieving sales targets._
- _ Experience in a technical sales environment_
- _ Must be willing to travel extensively nationally._
- _ Must have own vehicle and valid driver's license_

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- _ Provide complete and appropriate solutions _for every customer to boost top & bottom-line revenue growth and profitability._
- _ Ensuring that agreed sales objectives are met or exceeded and growing revenue, profitability, and increasing the company market share within the private and public utility markets._
- _ Reporting to the Business Development Manager._
- _ Promote the companys products and services._
- _ Develop and implement a customer growth strategy (Active hunting)._
- _ Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities._
- _ Retain and grow existing customer business._
- _ Plan to meet sales targets and budgets._
- _ Analyze and investigate pricing, demand & competition._
- _ Confer with customers and technical staff to assess equipment needs and determine system requirements._
- _ Conduct research and cold-call potential customers to identify potential new markets and customers._
- _ Create detailed proposal documents and formal bidding process documentation._
- _ Prepare & deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to prospective customers._
- _ Communicating new product developments to existing and prospective clients_
- _ Provide sales & forecasts reports._
- _ Manage the sales cycle from inception to completion._
- _ Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers._
