Our client is looking for an experienced Technical Sales Manager for their paint coatings division. The position is based in Gauteng and reports to the Technical Director.
**Requirements**:
- Proven technical experience and in-depth knowledge of the Plastics Paint Coatings market
- Proven sales experience from the coatings and consumables sector
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- A network of contacts and decision-makers at paint coatings companies
- Proven experience in demonstrating the USPs of paint coatings and abrasives that successfully lead to sales
- Proven experience in managing pricing and margins
- Honed presentation skills with the ability to deliver professional presentations to a varied audience
- Buckets of commercial awareness, industry and up-to-date process and product knowledge
- Commercial experience and skilled in delivering customer solutions that meet target metrics
- Great IT skills; using customer databases, preferably with Phocas, Microsoft Office; Outlook, Word, Excel
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Line management experience
- A clean driving license and willingness to travel as required.
