A food manufacturer is looking for a Debtors & Creditors Clerk
- **Duties included (but not limited to)**:

- Collection of payments from debtors
- Recon of creditors invoices for payments
- Creating a remittance for payment
- Managing debtors accounts
- File management
- Maintain the billings register and ensure that the billings are complete and accurate
- Inspect supporting documents attached to the billings submitted for accuracy and completeness
- Liaise with internal staff to ensure that all queries on billings have been resolved to allow for punctual processing
- Attend to billing queries and ensure are resolved amicably
- Call customers before suspension to remind of the need for payment.
- Follow up to ensure payment arrangements are honored.
- Investigates delinquent accounts and contacts customers to collect payment as expeditiously as possible.
- Issue monthly customer invoices
- Update the customer master file with contact information
- Ensure that all documents are filed chronologically and daily
- Update the debit order run daily

Other general administration within the department
- Working hours
- Monday to Friday : 7:00am-4:45pm

**Minimum requirements**:

- Matric
- Experience in financial admin role
- MS Office - excellent skills
- A good command of English: read, write and speak
- MS Excel
- Experience in regulatory services, and governing bodies will be beneficial.
- Good customer service skills

Experience in debtors and creditors

**Salary**: R12,500.00 - R15,000.00 per month
