**HR Officer - South Africa**:
**We’re seeking an HR Officer as an integral position within our HR team, who will provide an outstanding HR service to both our line management population and team members, as well as supporting our HR Director. This is a multifaceted role responsible for managing every aspect of the employment process, combining the fundamental elements of HR administration alongside delivering fast-paced solutions-oriented HR initiatives in our growing talent solutions business.**:
**Role Outline**:
- Delivering high quality HR administrative support in all areas of the employment life cycle, including but not limited to, employment contract generation, organisation chart creation, leave documentation.
- Input and on-going maintenance of employee records on our HRIS, all internal systems and all employee benefits platforms according to policy and legal requirements.
- Review, update and/or create employment policies for our three geographical locations to ensure legal compliance.
- Providing advice on policies and procedures to line management and employees alike.
- Completing references for all new employees.
- Assist line managers in the creation and implementation of effective induction and onboarding plans for our new employees.
- Managing the probation process with line managers.
- Assist in performance management processes.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Support the Human Resources Director in developing and shaping the initiatives and services we offer as an HR Team.
- Accountability for proactively updating of appropriate spreadsheets and records throughout the month to reflect any business change. Also using this data to contribute to monthly payroll meetings and ensure necessary changes are made in a timely manner.
- Updating information on internal communication channels.
**Requirements and skills**:
- 1-3 years demonstrable working experience at an HR Officer level.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field such as Industrial Psychology.
- Knowledge of HR functions (reward, compensation and benefits, recruitment, training and development etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of South African labour law, disciplinary procedures and HR best practices.
- People oriented and results driven.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; active listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
- Strong ethics and reliability.
- Highly proficient in all MS Office systems.
