We are seeking a skilled **Integration Specialist** with expertise in **Ab Initio** to design, implement, and manage complex data processing solutions, to join our client in **Johannesburg (Hybrid).**

**Responsibilities**:

- **Data Solution Design & Development**: Design, develop, and execute complex data acquisition and processing solutions using Ab Initio.
- ** ETL and Integration**: Interface between SAP and non-SAP environments using ETL tools such as Ab Initio and SAP Data Services to ensure seamless integration.
- ** Requirements Gathering & Analysis**: Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand and define data processing needs, ensuring solutions align with business objectives.
- ** Best Practices Implementation**: Design and implement solutions that follow industry best practices, ensuring robust technical development, testing, and promotion to production.
- ** Stakeholder Collaboration**: Serve as a point of contact for customers, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring project deliverables meet customer expectations and quality standards.
- ** Project Delivery & Risk Management**: Plan and prioritise tasks to meet project timelines, identify and mitigate risks, and highlight potential issues to project management.
- ** System Performance**: Investigate and propose enhancements to improve performance, ensuring conformity to programming and documentation standards.
- ** Integration Specialist Role**: Act as an integration specialist across Ab Initio and SAP, providing direction and functional expertise on all aspects of the systems.
- ** Consulting & Knowledge Sharing**: Provide insights and direction to stakeholders on industry solutions, best practices, and Ab Initio-related projects.
- ** Client Management**: Maintain and expand relationships with key client personnel, providing value-driven proposals and industry knowledge.
- ** Customer Success**: Take ownership of ensuring customer expectations are met, delivering services with urgency and professionalism.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- Preferred Certifications:

- Ab Initio and/or integration-specific certification.

**Experience**:
**Technical Requirements**:

- Strong experience with the Ab Initio software platform, including implementation and integration of solutions.
- In-depth knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing concepts, and IT architecture.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies for project development and execution.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite for documentation and reporting.
- Strong understanding of Business Analysis, SDLC (System Development Life Cycle), and problem-solving techniques.
- Experience with SAP Data Services and other ETL tools is advantageous.
