The role of the senior transaction manager will entail planning, managing and monitoring the implementation of risk activities and processes in order to deliver on approved operational plans in an effective and efficient manner. Managing all financial covenants and collateral management across the portfolio of all clients that have Trade and Working Capital products spanning the full range of Corporate and Investment Banking and Relationship Banking.

**Job Description**:
The key responsibilities will include the following:
Financial covenants:
Manage the execution of the calculations, monitoring and reporting on all financial covenants:

- Ensure that solid understanding and management of all approved financial covenants is adopted and maintained
- Ensure that the approved and agreed financial covenants are recorded in the covenants system and this is done according to the approved processes
- Ensure that there is a complete repository of all financial covenants as approved by the various Credit forum or committees.

Collateral management:
Manage the execution of the recording, valuation, monitoring and reporting on all collateral:

- Ensure that solid understanding and management of all approved collateral is adopted and maintained
- Ensure that the approved and agreed collateral are recorded in the collateral management system and this is done according to the approved processes
- Ensure that there is a complete repository of all collateral as approved by the various Credit forum or committees.
- Ensure that these collateral items are monitored and reported as prescribed or stipulated in the credit committee approval and/or client signed commercial terms
- Where there are breaches, that such breaches are reported to all the relevant stakeholders
- Proactively gather information needed to monitor and evaluate the adequacy of these collateral items/instruments
- A Post graduate degree in Finance, Economics or Law or related studies
- More than 5 years of experience in the Financial Statement preparation and/or analysis preferably within Lending or Transactional Bankingdebt products e.g. Overdrafts, Supplier Finance etc
- Strategy formulation and working in a strategy team (plan and execute)
- Leading others and working in a matrix structure
- Preferably with a solid understanding of credit and loan documents

Education

Bachelor's Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (required)
