**1. JOB SUMMARY**

a. Provides ongoing support for the management of real estate transaction activities across all Occupier Services commercial, retail and petroleum sector portfolios.

b. Assist with the preparation and coordination of all required checks and documentation for the execution of lease renewals, new site acquisitions, disposition of surplus space through subleasing, sale renewals, early lease termination, and more.

**2. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- To maintain, keep track of and assist with the management of the process flow of any lease renewal / acquisition / disposal as well as maintain awareness of the lease status of all leases within each portfolio and assist management to drive all processes to finalisation within a prescribed timeline.
- To assist management where needed in ensuring that due process is followed in the most expedient manner with regard to the processes preceding the conclusion of new agreements of lease and renewals in particular (but without exclusion) credit checks (CASA) and obtaining FICA and other relevant documentation.
- To assist with market research pertaining to node and sector specific property information.
- To maintain comprehensive lease audit, expiry and completion reports, supported with hands-on knowledge on the status of vacancies and leasing activity within each portfolio across all sectors to ensure timely transaction completion.
- To have knowledge of the standard leases across all portfolio clients and lease types and the requirements thereof.
- To provide assistance to management to ensure that so that all relevant documentation is accurately and comprehensively captured.
- To provide general administrative support and document collection and management to the leasing and management team.
- Adhere to all regulatory real estate agency requirements.

**3. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

a. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training. Real Estate or Business-related degrees are preferred, unless if demonstratable real estate transaction experience is evident.

b. A post-graduate qualification preferred.

**4. CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES**

a. Valid EAAB Certificate and/or duly registered with the EAAB to attain same

**5. COMMUNICATION SKILLS**

a. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

b. Strong organizational and analytical skills.

c. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.

d. Ability to effectively present information in summarised and eye-catching formats

**6. FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE**

a. Requires advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles.

b. Able to conduct advanced financial analysis.

**7. REASONING ABILITY**

a. Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret complex documents.

b. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
