**Position Summary**:
Creative is seeking an Investment Promotion Lead for an anticipated USAID-funded project. The 5-year activity aims to promote peace between the West Bank and Gaza (WBG) and Israel through expanded economic and research partnerships with the WBG, Israel and the U.S. The activity will also support expanded trade opportunities for Palestinians across the Middle East and North Africa region.

The Investment Promotion Lead will support investment projects in West Bank/Gaza and Israel. S/He will build partnerships with a wide range of private-sector actors including businesses, investors, business development service providers, and development finance institutions (DFIs). The Investment Promotion Lead will complete analysis of potential investment projects, structure partnerships models, support due diligence (technical, financial, and legal), and negotiate deals.

**Reporting & Supervision**:
The Investment Promotion Lead will report to the Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP).

**Responsibilities**:
**P**rimary Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain relationships with firms, financial institutions, and business organizations as potential BREB partners;
- Identify strategic partnership opportunities to encourage private-sector growth in strategic export-oriented sectors;
- Design firm-level technical support to private sector partners to enhance competitiveness
- Engage with financial institutions (banks, private equity, DFIs, or other external financial actors/vehicle) to facilitate financing for Palestinian businesses;
- Map key financial sector actors involved in the development of financial products;
- Complete preliminary analysis and investment memos for projects and partners and shortlist recommendations;
- Participate in the evaluation of relevant grants;
- Provide inputs for annual work plans in accordance with BREB’s scope.

Qualifications:
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Master's degree in business, finance, economics, or related field;
- Minimum of 6 years of work experience, preferably in a financial institution;
- Prior banking experience evaluating loan portfolios and presenting lender file to bank credit committee for lending decisions is highly preferred;
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with institutional and private sector partners and stakeholders, including the national government;
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills required, including ability to produce high-quality project reports and deliver high level presentations to clients and partners;
- Experience managing a project with a high volume of grants desired;
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout West Bank/Gaza and Israel;
- Previous experience working in West Bank/Gaza/Israel is preferred;
- Previous experience working with USAID strongly desired;
- Excellent written and verbal English and Arabic, Hebrew is a plus.
