**Purpose of the Job**:

- **Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for overall strategy, structure, financial results, stakeholder and process management
- Ensure that value is created to drive overall growth and results for Stakeholders
- Establish a strategic vision to drive the achievement of key results
- Inspire and build a leadership model and culture which enables key results
- Direct, manage and lead the business units and/or leaders of the assigned business units to devise strategies for driving growth and increasing revenue to achieve targets and emerging business objectives
- Design and implement projects and business development initiatives with clearly identified objectives and outcomes
- Ensure overall effective and efficient operations of the assigned business units
- Identify and drive synergies and integration within the assigned business units and across the Group where required
- Build trust and appropriate partnerships with internal and external Stakeholders
- Ensure appropriate governance, compliance, and reporting to Stakeholders

**Minimum Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field**:

- **10 years experience at an executive level or 5 years in a similar role**:

- **Previous experience working in retail or a related industry**:

- Experience in leading a team and managing Stakeholder relationships
- Experience in developing profitable strategies and crafting and implementing a vision
- Knowledge of core retail business processes and activities, especially in value/discount retail would be an advantage
- Previous experience in leading other Executive Leaders will be advantageous
- Previous experience in leading across various countries will be advantageous
- Previous experience in managing a portfolio of businesses will be advantageous
