Our client, a well-established **branding solutions **company based in Durban, is looking to fill the position of **Content Creator.**

**Purpose**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute content strategy that meets our short and long term Marketing strategy.
- Research industry-related topics.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis.
- Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to optimise content.
- Identify customer needs and pain points and recommend new topics for content.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to identify new ways to enhance social media engagement and website traffic.
- Ensure that all content that is published, adheres to copyright and data protection laws.
- Create engaging and relevant content, both written and visual, that align with our various brands’ values and connects these brands with our prospective audiences.
- Writing, editing, and uploading website content. Ensuring that content is accurate and current, whilst improving site SEO to generate quality leads through this platform.
- Working with the Marketing team to develop and implement exciting and engaging staff campaigns that enhance our company culture.
- Working with staff from other departments to cover the stories of our people for quarterly newsletters.
- Coordinate and execute photo and video shoots of our products and people.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest content trends.
- Create staff birthday announcements.
- When necessary, edit digital content (photo and video) to ensure the highest quality content reaches our audiences.
- Adhoc marketing duties will include attending events and assisting with other projects within the organisation when necessary.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Grade 12 Senior Certificate
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Based in Durban
- Own transport
- Related qualification in media, marketing, communications or a related creative field (advantageous)
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere Pro) (essential)
- Experience working with Mail Chimp (essential)
- Experience working with WordPress websites (essential)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) (essential)
- Experience in social media content production (essential)
- Creativity and flexibility
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work within a diverse team
- Photography, videography and editing experience (essential)
- Excellent organisational skills (time and project management) (essential)
- Out the box thinker
- Have a natural inclination for what makes engaging content and an understanding of current digital content trends

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Durban, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
