**Job Purpose**
The Administrative Assistant will be required to perform various administrative duties in an efficient manner to support area and virtual office staff. To coordinate and control the activities, plans, and programs of the designated areas of responsibility. The role requires someone skilled at anticipating challenges and proposing solutions for the leader and team. Someone who can organize, communicate and collaborate
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**
Includes but not limited to:
- Coordinate office procedures
- Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
- Record accurate minutes of meetings
- Develop and update administrative systems to make them more efficient
- Resolve administrative problems in providing information by answering questions and requests
- Submit and reconcile expense reports
- Coordinates and processes human resources/payroll activities
- Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned
- Participate in cross training
- Ability to follow reasonable instruction
**Requirements**:
**Education Required**MatricDegree, certificate, or diploma in a related field.
**Experience Required**
- At least 5 years of experience in an administration or personal assistant role.
- Microsoft Office Skills
- Ability to interface with other departments, customers and vendors virtually via technology platforms
- Ability to problem solve and facilitate successful outcomes
- Knowledge of accounting practices and methodologies
- Knowledge of Supply Management
- Knowledge of Inventory Control
- Knowledge of office management/administration systems and procedures
**Skills Required**:
Excellent knowledge of MS OfficeProblem solvingCommunication (written and verbal)Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize workStrong organizational and planning skills
