**About the role**:
As a content writer at Electrum you will be asked to:

- Write market-facing collateral for our payments solutions from social posts to blogs and long-form thought leadership content, and everything in between, such as newsletters, thought-leadership papers, infographics, videos, case studies, web pages, etc.
- Leverage your strong critical thinking and interpretation skills to collate your own and others research and in-person interviews into market-ready persona targeted content
- Conduct market research and monitor industry trends and behaviours
- Follow Electrum’s writing and other brand guidelines to ensure that brand standards are met particularly in regards to a consistent tone of voice and standardised word usage
- Self manage, self-edit and self check your work
- Optimise writing and marketing principles by learning through analytics and content performance

**Requirements**:

- A Bachelor's degree with honours, preferably in sciences, technology, law or business
- A minimum of 3 years experience spanning any technical environment in which you conducted writing assignments
- Preference will be given to marketing, technical and B2B experience within the software and financial services industries
- Proven experience in turning technical concepts into easily understood value-based content for business personas

**Additional skills**:

- An analytical thinker
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Are a highly motivated, independent self-starter
- Great communication skills and a passion for telling stories through a variety of media
- Experience with Google Suite and Google Analytics
- Some exposure to marketing tools i.e., Hubspot, Mailchimp, URL shorteners, etc
