**Post -** **Unified Communications Specialist**

**Minimum Requirements**:

- 4 year Electronics engineering degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution
- Minimum of 4years in a similar or related role
- Advanced knowledge of MS teams
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure
- Advance knowledge of Operator Connect
- HCIA, HCIP and / or HCIE
- Streaming protocols
- Realtime traffic protocols

**Summary of Duties**:

- Administer add, move, and change requests, as well as new data or phone line installations as required.
- Follow-up with vendors on open tickets and issues.
- Troubleshoot Tel phones, Unified Communications products, and voice carrier issues.
- Escalate issues with Director: IT Infrastructure.
- Collaborate with other members of the infrastructure and customer service teams and vendors to ensure the safe and proper installation of data cabling, phone wiring and Unified Communications equipment.
- Responsible for creating technical documentation for infrastructure solutions
- Identify network system issues, troubleshoot, and provide solutions
- Provide preventative measures to ensure uptime and optimal performance of the environment
- Delivering a secure, compliant and stable enterprise UC platform
- Collaborate with other members of the ICTS division on projects and issues.
- Design and oversee Unified Communication projects with a goal of improving or expanding the current Unified Communication infrastructure in accordance with stated ICTS strategy.
- Monitor and identify capacity and performance issues for Unified Communications traffic to ensure continued and uninterrupted operation of Unified Communication systems.
- Conduct site surveys and make recommendations.
- Provide guidance to junior level Unified Communication staff and assist with ticket escalations as needed.
- Attend meetings and training as required.
