HR Internship Programme

**Purpose of Role**:
The purpose of the role is to provide assistance to the HR team in day-to-day operations, in various tasks including payroll, recruitment, selection, performance management, onboarding and employee training and development, The role will also include updating HR policies and talent records.
**Objectives of Role**:
**Assist the HR team with tasks, which will include Administration and coordination of multiple projects such as**:
- Collating talent training needs and education assistance.
- Assisting with onboarding and orientation of new talent, compiling welcome and starter packs.
- Organizing and completing all recruitment administration i.e scheduling interviews, compiling interview packs, conducting reference checks etc.
- Ensure that all HR filing and archiving is up to date.
- Coordination of booking internal and external training.
- Keeping record of all external and internal training.
- Maintaining the HR calendar and assisting the HR team with scheduling various activities including talent engagement, performance reviews, Employment Equity and WSP submissions.
- Ensure timeous submission of new employee information packs to payroll
- Maintain a well-organized and efficient HR central storage system for talent files.
- Travel coordination and logistics
- Administrative support to Head of Talent and related administrative support to the HRBP’s
Reporting and management of monthly scorecard input
**Experience and Qualifications**:
- National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources (Essential)
- 0 - 2 years minimum work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

- Must have the ability to work as part of a team.
- Should have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
