The position of Operations Supervisor Nightshift has become available at Triton Express in Bloemfontein.

**Supervising inbound/freight receiving services by**:

- Processing agents’ freight by verifying quantities, destinations, parcel conditions and affixing destination stickers
- Supervising sortation and loading in designated storage areas
- Capturing, downloading and scanning of waybills and parcels
- Daily debriefing of collection schedules
- Verifying airfreight lodging within the required time frames
- Running daily reports
- Debriefing manifests on Freightware
- Clearing of inbound airfreight

**Supervising outbound/dispatch services by**:

- Processing upliftment of all freight
- Scanning outgoing parcels
- Printing trip sheets
- Supervising loading bays
- Obtaining driver trip sheet acceptance (signature), hand waybills (copy) and record vehicle registration numbers
- Ensuring collections for outlying areas are communicated and followed up on daily basis
- Verifying that POD’s are received within the required time frame
- Debriefing manifests on Freightware
- Monitoring correct Freight handling
- Assisting with Customer queries
- Booking collections
- Communicating of operational information, including pre-alerts
- Continuous monitoring of vehicle loading and floor activity as and when required

**Maintaining receiving/dispatch workers by**:

- Providing work instructions
- Providing task training and developing general competence levels
- Motivating the receiving and dispatch staff towards objective achievement
- Communicating inbound/ outbound information within the warehouse
- Assisting in handling any Zone Control problems that may occur
- Maintaining a safe and healthy working environment

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Matric (Grade 12) minimum
- Industry specific experience and background in operations is required
- Computer literate - Good understanding of Freightware or similar management system
- A valid driver’s license
- A valid Forklift License
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- Working hours are from 24h00 to 10h00
- Ability to communicate on all levels. (Read, write and speak)
- Willing to work outside the normal working hours as and when required
- Ability to work unsupervised the majority of the time
- Own transport to and from work
